The Online German Course will be tailored to the course participants and levels.
The time until the next live online course is also learned because shortly after the first course Chris YLM will provide you with accessible worksheets and LearnApps without a teacher.
You are also welcome to work through the lessons several times to deepen what you have learned, as we`ll tape each lesson! If you may miss a lesson, Chris will send you the tape so you can work through it and ask questions in the next lesson.

So whether you choose to take an intensive course, weekly courses, or a combined face-to-face, you will see tangible results in a short period of time.

How long will it take to improve my language skills?
It depends. As is the case when learning any new skill, your progress depends on your efforts.
If you would like to learn quickly, then we suggest that you make language learning a consistent habit.
Also, focus and participate in class and complete the downloadable material at the end of each class for best results.
It also depends on which of Chris YLM’s online language courses you choose, as some of our plans are more intensive than others.
You will work on the intensive course, your desired topic will of course be incorporated. Differentiate the German tenses on the basis of the contexts of the sentence and use them correctly. The time until the next online course is also learned, because shortly after the first course I will provide you with an accessible course without a teacher. So you have 2 courses per day, but you can take as much time as you like with the course provided without a teacher. You are also welcome to work through the lessons several times to deepen what you have learned.

Meet Chris YLM.
My name is Christine-Virginia Franken but please call me Chris.
I`ve been teaching German for more than 22 years. I really love teaching and seeing how my students progress over time.
My mother is German and my father is American so I grew up bilingual.
After we moved to Germany I experienced how strenuous it can be using the correct grammar in German.
My students love me because I provide a convenient and authentic experience that leads to fluency.

For over two years, I perfected my Business German with Chris YLM and can fully recommend both her didactic competence and her teaching concept: She always works with the most up-to-date media, proposes the most diverse topics from the world of work and the area of geography, and prepares the lessons extremely lively and entertaining. As a bilingual from the United States but grew up in Germany, she can also always answer questions about culture and colloquial language.
Chris YLM gave our practice employees intensive individual tuition in „German“. The courses were held individually online or in face-to-face classes.
Here, some of our employees from other European countries received intensive German lessons. The classes were very successful. An employee who started with level A1 in German reached a B1 level in a few months and could be successfully used at the reception and even on the phone. The psychological work performed by Chris YLM was also convincing, which led to the employee losing his fear of speaking and increasingly opening up.
Another employee who showed weakness in writing improved grammatically significantly.
Since we have a practice with international patients, our receptionist also completed courses with Chris YLM.
Chris YLM responded to our special requests and taught the employees very successfully in Business German (e.g. appointments, telephoning, small talk …). She also impressively observed the different starting levels of our employees and responded to them individually.
